What is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Automation Practitioner?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Automation Practitioner apprentices enhance productivity, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement through the safe and responsible use of automation, integration, and AI tools. They play a key role in unlocking time and cost savings,  supporting organisations to use AI, automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy or productivity.

Apprenticeship assessment is usually carried out remotely, using video calling for the live assessment method. This allows flexible booking for apprentices throughout England.

What does apprenticeship assessment involve for Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Automation Practitioner level 4?

Project

1st for Awarding has designed the project assessment. Guidance includes mapping of Assessment Outcomes relevant to this assessment method and the associated knowledge and skills.

Second assessment method

Details are available on request. Apprentices are given opportunity to demonstrate competency across all Assessment Outcomes across the two assessment methods.

Apprentices may be assessed at any appropriate point during their apprenticeship programme; 1st for Awarding can advise on appropriate points.

  • Grades available are Pass or Distinction.
  • Some Centre delivery may be possible – contact us for details.
  • Assessment may be started at any appropriate point during the apprenticeship.
  • There is no cap on the grade that can be achieved in a re-sit or re-take.
