Assessment
What does end point assessment involve for Marketing Manager level 6?
Project Showcase
The apprentice must prepare a marketing plan for their employer. The showcase requires apprentices to submit a 4,000 word report, then deliver a 20 minute presentation and take part in a 30 minute Q&A session with an assessor.
Professional Discussion
This is a 70 minute discussion between the apprentice and the assessor. The discussion will typically include a combination of competency-based questions and scenario-based questions.
Useful to know
- The activities defined in the marketing plan do not need to be implemented.
- The project is started after gateway and the report must be submitted within 4 months of the EPA start date.
- There is normally a 2-week gap between report submission and the live assessment, to allow the assessor to review the materials submitted.
- Re-sits must be taken within a maximum period of 7 months from gateway.
- There is no cap on the grade that can be achieved in a re-sit or re-take.
