Assessment

What does end point assessment involve for Team Leader level 3?

1.

Presentation with Questions

The apprentice will deliver a 20 minute presentation to the assessor that covers their role, what they do, and how they tackle challenges. The questioning will typically last 30 minutes.

2.

Professional Discussion underpinned by a Portfolio of Evidence

A portfolio of evidence is submitted at gateway. The discussion then takes place as a video call between the apprentice and assessor, lasting 60 minutes.

Useful to know

  • The presentation is started after gateway and the presentation materials must be submitted by the end of week 4 of the EPA period.
  • There must be a 2-week gap between presentation submission and the assessment, to allow the assessor to review the materials submitted.
  • There must be a 2-week gap between portfolio submission and the professional discussion, to allow the assessor to review the portfolio submitted.
  • Re-sits are typically taken within 2 months of the EPA outcome date.
  • Grades achieved in a re-sit or re-take are capped at a Pass.
